In Italy it's normal to play this kind of tournaments. Nobody wants to grab other player bits, simply it's easy to call the team as a famous one and take its jersey. It's a cost effective way.

However I play for Everton in the Centurion cup, we chose it 'cos we like the jersey and personally I hate liverpool...
