Have you noticed something, completely on topic with this thread?

The one they plucked from an upper class family, who is 100% royal and does everything as a royal should is beloved.

The outsider who didn't really fit into the royal family who isn't pure blooded or from a upper class background is demonised and made out in the press as a horrible person.

Starting to think most of the Megan reporting is completely made up / exaggerated to paint her in such a dark image. How dare she not be the good little royal and take Harry away, we the British press will make everyone hate her as a result.

She's admitted to being a liar though.

She lied about saying she never advised on the book Finding Freedom, nor considered the possibility her letter would be leaked to the press.

The truth is she did collaborate on the book and the letter to her father was stage managed.

The press, in my view, have her pretty much nailed on. A very ambitious, scheming woman... Who is incredibly beautiful like.

Or is that what the press want you to think about her? ?

Not even going to pretend I know what any of that means. If she is proven to be lying then fair enough.

I am not sure people actually do, at least in the sense of people actually having a personal gripe with her for what she has done in that court case.

The vast majority of the outrage over her conduct is prompted, encouraged and sustained by the press, who lets not forget are massively compromised here given that her and Harry have sued / are suing for various things that most of us would find intolerable (and in the MoS's case, have won that case) and that the press have made - and continue to make - a lot of money out of the Royals.

TBF I am not even sure she is the real target of the press campaign either, its just (sadly) much easier to get many people to hate someone when they tick a lot of those pre-defined boxes we are all encouraged to be suspicious of (black, female, actor, American, "opinionated" and now "woke") than it is for people to engage with the relatively simple idea that someone raised in the public eye, who lost their mum in an incident where the press were not without blame and who served their country might want to avoid that for his wife and kids.
