We were in a remote part of the Lakes about a month ago and there was no signal for vast areas where we were.

It’s amazing how quickly you forget about your phone and also how quickly you start to switch off and relax as a result.

A place I stayed last year was that remote, there was no telly signal at all and you could only get radio 4.

It was bliss.
