It was my lads first game at the new ground last night.

Even though he`s " too cool for school " he was really excited to be going and I could see him filling up when the players came out, to the siren and the music.

Fast forward to the journey home and I ask him if he wants to go to the cup game on Saturday, to which he replies, that although he was glad he went, he has no plans to go anytime soon, as the ground " is full of the same idiots and the same toxicity as Goodison ".

How sad is that.
