This has all been a ploy from the start to make the shirts collectible hasn't it

They KNEW we'd all kick up a fuss, thus making sure this is a one season thing where people buy it for that reason

No more collectible than every other shirt. It's not as if the badge is an iconic nod to our past - collectible means limited edition (like the Purple shirts or the 25th anniversary shirts) or iconic. Since we change shirts (and badges) frequently enough there's nothing in next year's shirt that shouts out collectible to me - and, if the reaction to the badge is anything to go by there will be a huge surplus of shirts to send to charitable causes anyway.

They admitted they were wrong and have said they'll change it for 14/15

I'm happy with that (so long as the new badge is an improvement)

This. Can't do anything about this season but a chance to fix it after that. That's all anyone can ask realistically.

If they had 'consulted' fans in the first place they could have avoided this. No faith in anything that comes out of the boardroom tbh.

They should have predicted our reaction. It would have been a really good initiative if they involved us in the new crest design to start with.
