Good luck. Are you offering the online downloadable option due purchase?
Hi mate, we're not offering online downloads yet. We need to figure out a secure way of doing this which stops people sharing a PDF amongst 10 of them, as we need to cover the costs of printing. We will put the PDF up for online download when the hard copy is sold out.

Can't wait to get my hands on this. Will order tomorrow!

Ordered mine last night, looking forward to reading it.
Thanks to both of you for your orders. The response from Evertonians has been great so far.

Used to love "when skies are grey", would always get a copy and keep it in the bathroom to read whilst I was having a Tom Tit. Soon as it went online I just couldn't be bothered anymore, happy days that I'm getting some hopefully quality toilet literature back in my life again;)
Haha, that is exactly what it's designed for. The Black Watch - coming to a toilet near you!

Evening all,

A new Everton fanzine is coming out - The Black Watch. I spoke to the mods on here last week and they agreed it was ok for me to plug it to you all.

Fanzines aren't everyone's cup of tea but, as there is now only one regular print fanzine in circulation outside Goodison (fair play to the lads at NSNO), we've decided to have a go at producing one ourselves. Something you can shove in your back pocket and read wherever and whenever you want, on a match day or on your commute.

After a summer of writing and designing, the first issue of The Black Watch is currently with the printers and is available to pre-order online here: http://theblackwatchfanzine.bigcartel.com.

Contents include: a review of the summer (i.e. all the bizarre transfer rumours and ticketing chaos we all wet the bed over), stuff on Rooney, Bramley Moore and Goodison-inspired kit designs, a report of watching the Toffees in Tanzania, and an article on the good and the bad of watching MLS on holiday in New York.

Future issues will be on sale at the match, but the first issue is currently online only due to the timing of home fixtures.

More importantly, we also want more people to get involved with the fanzine. We want writers - loosely around the theme of Everton and football, whether that's matters to do with the team, the ground, historical pieces, or your list of the top 5 chippys by Goodison. The mag will be a broad church.

We would also love people to get involved with the design of the fanzine - we could do with people who have artistic/design talent, people who can illustrate, who can help us make the fanzine look even better. If you'd like to get involved PM me or email theblackwatchfanzine@gmail.com. We're on Twitter too: @TheBlack_Watch.

Cheers again to the mods for letting me post this.
Good luck with the fanzine

Great read, and really funny. I remember the article about "The fashion conscious Yorkshireman" it was brilliant.

Nice one to everyone who has ordered it - great response so far and it's much appreciated. We're just waiting on our printers now but hope to post mags out next week.

Hi mate - very strange, haven't encountered that before. Just PMed you so if you can send me some more info on the problems you're having I will look into it.

Good luck mate, any dogging sites listed in it.
Not in this issue, might try and get an interview with Van der Meyde or Drenthe, I'm sure they'd be able to give some insight into that sort of thing.

Fantastic name for the magazine. I was only wondering the other day why I never hear anyone make reference to The Black Watch moniker and wondered had I actually lost my mind and invented the whole association. Love the front cover too.
