Both excellent but OK Computer came out and smashed the whole Britpop world apart.

Look at Blur and Oasis, that album destroyed them, musicially. The 4 piece has never been the same and raised the bar which only The Strokes, Libertines and Coldplay have come near.

Those albums sound nothing like Hearsay you absolute monster

The bends for playing loud, OK Computer for earphones on a train journey etc. They are very different albums really, they would've been panned critically but made a fortune if they made the bends "2" so OK Computer was a very brave album to make at the time.

In Rainbows is my favourite Radiohead album, but of these two OK Computer is better.

I tried In Rainbows once and had to turn it off half way through the second track because I was slipping into a boredom-induced coma.

I've heard this a couple of times on here over the past few weeks and seems like a really weird thing to say. Almost as if just as rap and dance become 'Pitchfork trendy', guitar based music became irrelevant.
