Player Valuation: £1.5m
Can't wait for this, starts tomorrow (Thursday) at 11.00am, if the rain stays away that is!

With Pietersen injured, England look like there gonna play Ian Bell at number 3, don't know why cause he's crap, would of give Stephen Moore a chance myself

As for the Aussies, Brett Lee is still out (Thank God!)

England to go 2 nil up?

Where's McB ???

Anyway lad , L.C.A.B. will be there . Hollis Stand - opposite the Pavilion - near the top . I shall have - if it gets past security - my Wembley flag .
Keep ' em peeled , kids .

I shall reprrazent !!! ( As they say in the 'hood . )

I'll take a draw , and on to Leeds . ( I'm also going there . )

P.S. Key should bat 3 from Leeds onwards .
S . Clarke will , hopefully not play .
He had Bell so often , down under , it wasn't funny .
Bunny just didn't quite say it .
Big Harmy in for ( 2 Pounda ) O'Nions .

Come on England. I am really pleased with the inclusion of Steve Harmison, he will be a good foil for Freddie Flintstone.

There is no way the Aussies will play as bad as they did in the last game.
I expect this game to be very close. I think a draw is most likely.

Where are you Nick, Tomorrow is Wednesday here!

Draw at Edgbaston and a win at Headingley would do for me! (y)

Oh Yeah am in Bootle, i Don't know what day it is, am working nights at the moment so i get confused

Harmison will either go mental and get fiver'fer or go mental and start crying in the middle after being smacked for 80 off 30 balls.

Either way, should make good viewing.

Just face it, he is mental. I expect 5 wides in the first two overs from him.

Going to be a cracker.

Aussies will get some payback, and normal service will be resumed.

All things had reversed when the Eclipse caused havoc during the last test, causing our loss. But things are right in the world again and expect:

-English batting collapses
-Wayward English bowling
-warm beer
-widespread moping
-Those brave Aussie battlers to shine

It's going to be great and I think evenly matched again with neither side having a truely destructive spinner. Allan Border thinks Johnson should back out of tests and go work on his game (I teach Border Jr, just as an aside) and on the evidence of the first 2 tests I'd be inclined to agree. If Clark doesn't play I'll be much more confident of an English victory.

As much as Punter is trying to make us an ordinary side, I reckon we might be in with a shot at Edgbaston. However, pitch reports indicate that it's going to take spin and, since we've not got anyone near Warne on a bad day, this will be our achilles heel.

Hauritz...not bad, but a looong way to go. :(

Warne was a once in a lifetime bowler. I doubt we'll see the likes of him for 20 years.
