They were just thoroughly outplayed. Other than Archer, none of the English bowlers can bowl a consistent line and length. There are far too many short and wide bad balls. With Australia you get almost none of that.

That batting wasn't good enough but the big difference is the quality of bowling. Australia are accurate and England are not close to the levels you need.

Pope's dismissal is really the only one where its a bad shot. And it's a really poor shot to be fair.

The gulf in class between the 2 teams is enormous. I really dont think Australia need favourable DRS decisions to keep going in their favour. If snicko isn't working correctly then it should not be used
