Im a complete noob to cricket, what happens in a test match if the first innings of one team lasts the entire five days ? Is it even possible ? I know teams declare, is that because in order for there to be a winner the other team has to have had at least one innings ? Or can you theoretically just bat for 5 days if no one gets out and win that way ?
