May I ask, as Anderson and Broad aren't getting any younger, what is coming up next for England and their bowling attack when they are gone? Because if this is it, then you may be finding Zimbabwe and the West Indies difficult to dismiss.

Stokes, when sober, fancy Livingstone from Lancs. in the coming years as an explosive all rounder, bowls leg breaks. Mark Wood, if he can stay fit. Jake Ball is young and will have easier series to build up confidence. Who knows in four years what bowlers might appear ?

How about the quicker Overton?

Livingstone is bowling off breaks for the lions these days. Saqib mahmood bowls quick for the lions but struggles to get a game for lancs funnily enough.

He bowled very well against Perth in the T20 games apparently. Didn’t realise both Matty Parkinson & Glen Chapple had been called up for the West Indies as well, Chapple as a coach obviously.

Despite still being baby-faced Root is one tough cookie. It would be great to see him hang around til the close, get his first hundred in Australia and save the game for us.
