HiYou minx
You good.
Hello mate,Gday
Plunkett's 32, last played a Test over three years' ago, has a bowling average of 37.46 and has only played 13 Tests. There's a reason for that : he's not very good.Good to see others on here championing Liam Plunkett. I mentioned him earlier and think he'd have been ideal on Australian wickets.
He certainly would have offered more than Ball and probably Woakes.
We should have had a lead considering they were 209/7 but not for the first time England struggle to knock over a tail. We are still right in it but need a big partnership tomorrow, and Cook wants slaughtering for that ridiculous shot.
But he's got pace.Plunkett has played 2 first class matches all season and got 7 wickets at around 30.00
If he can’t get in ahead of Jack brooks then that’s why he isn’t there.

Nowadays, totally different teams in the shorter game.If he's not very good why is he still a permanent fixture in England's T20 and one day sides?
While I agree he isn't top class, I reckon his style of bowling would suit Australian pitches.

No, he's had his chance at Test Level and was found wanting. Playing 1 or 2 T20 matches and bowling a maximum of 10 overs in meaningless games is hardly comparable to bowling 25 overs in a day in Australia. But the main point is he's not good enough. So your criticism of him being not very good is a bit wide of the mark with him playing regular international cricket, whatever the form of the game.
