My youngest finished his second year of Med School here in San Antonio and is getting ready to start rotations. Previously he had told me more than half of his class has no intention of practicing in Texas or the South due to the politicization of medicine. He let me know yesterday that the number unwilling to practice here has likely gone up given the insane lack of gun responsibility here.

Gonna go out on a limb, here, and say this geezer’s a nonce.

Most insane thing about this was the second I saw it reported, without reading more than the headline I said “I bet that the shooter used a AR-15” and low and behold yet again they did.

Random people having access to any guns is already insane to me, but why on earth would a civilian who isn’t literally in a war torn nation ever need a assault rifle?

You do realize that only 5% of firearms deaths in the United States are as a result of assault rifles, right? Most of the deaths are due to handguns.

Indeed. He once justified having 3 private jets by saying flying commercial is like getting into "a long tube with a bunch of demons."

While that may be an apt descriptor, what's his beef with demons?
I take it you never seen the latest Conjuring film?

Oh my. You have to be a troll to be using this as an argument in this situation

Where am I suggesting this as a justification for the shooter's motives? It's just an interesting piece I thought I'd share on here. Brits don't tend to believe in the devil as far as I'm aware.

Kenneth Copeland doesn’t believe in the Devil. He is an evangelist shill who uses his popularity to make money for himself and his family. The only interesting thing about him is that he has managed to hoodwink so many people into funding his lifestyle.
