In one video explaining his reasons for the move he suggested it was because it would be easier to evade rape charges. This is “probably 40% of the reason” he moved there, he says in one video, adding: “I’m not a rapist, but I like the idea of just being able to do what I want. I like being free.”

I believe this is the entrance to his home.

Why do you think being good at chess makes you a "mastermind"?

Anyone could become a 2000 level chess player if they bothered to put the time in. It's not actually that high.

It's even easier to exaggerate your level.

This is what Tate himself said, so it's probably already exaggerated:
“Chess is an amazing thing, I still play chess every day. I’m not world-level or anything. I’m around 1750-1800”. Highest ranking ever was 1894, mostly from online games.

His father never achieved 2500, highest rating was 2413
