Current Affairs The Andrew Tate thread

In society, men with a higher status are able to attract women and as Jordan Peterson once said, women want to have children with high status men, not with broke people. That's just simple human nature. Jordan Peterson said if you look at wildlife, you would see the all the alpha animals mate and have children with the female animals first.

Most successful people have loads of kids. The aristocrats in England all have [Poor language removed] loads of kids. Footballers have loads of kids. The list goes on. I grew up little bit of my life around Marylebone so I've been around extremely wealthy British people and most of them have more kids than you'd ever imagine. The US have a base camp in Rammstein, Germany and a lot of our high ranking officers return to the States with a lot of kids they have in Germany.

I find it quite strange that one of your intellectual heroes is a Psychologist (Jordan Peterson) who uses evolutionary arguments to frame his (really stupid) ideas. If you are content to talk about JP in the context of animals (e.g., alpha males and high paternity) and "simple human nature" you need to understand that JP is making an evolutionary argument, connecting "human nature" to animal-like tendencies. As someone who believes that dinosaurs and humans coexisted you need to know that you are relying on evolutionary arguments here.

[Also note, that your entire rationale is wrong: in some animal species "alpha" status is earned, which then leads to having high reproductive success, whereas in your case, you imply that if you have lots of children you will be accorded alpha status--this is ass-backwards at least as it applies to wildlife]

[Also note that the whole relationship between high dominance status and reproductive success in animals only holds for some species, not all of them. Jordan Peterson is a crap-evolutionary biologist and chooses to ignore the hundreds of species that don't fit his weak-minded evolutionary arguments that appeal to internet fanboys. In humans, there are several mechanisms that disrupt the relationship between high status and reproductive success, including obvious things like cultural norms, technology, and changing subsistence systems. But of course these latter things are complex and don't fit into soundbyte-argumentation that draws from pop-evolutionary psychology; it's much easier for JP to talk about lobsters and humans being "naturally" hierarchical as this appeals to internet fanboys who lack critical thinking skills]

No way, does @emir actually believe the earth is 10000 years old??

I mean it's funny because people my age all admire Tate. I'd say 80-90% of my class all admire people like Andrew Tate and agree with most of his views. I think society will see a huge mentality shift because it seems like Generation Z is way more conservative-minded than the baby boomers and the millennials. I think the society has seen a huge reaction with the whole liberal agenda being so apparent in recent time
Maybe in America they do.
Im near your age and me and my peers think hes a massive insecure drip who has to put up this front to stay strong.
And i think the exact same of you, you pure and utter wet wipe

Most rich people have more kids than what their records suggest. Bill Clinton had loads of kids in Arkansas before he got with Hillary. Here's an example;

I find it extremely strange that you would discuss individuals who sire children out of wedlock as a means to justify your (weak) arguments. Afterall, didn't you scold someone here for having one night stands and start an entire thread on having children out of wedlock? And yet you are content to bring up Clinton, Ronaldo and others. Doesn't this violate your sanctimonious values that you claim to have regarding marriage?

He's 37 for crying out loud. We should be grateful that we are still able to see this beast play football, albeit in a far weaker league in Saudi.

With Ronaldo, he is admired and look up to more so than Messi or any other players. Messi is a naturally gifted player. Ronaldo on the other hand worked his ass to get to the standard of being on the same level as Messi. Most young players now coming through tend to see Ronaldo as their idol, more so than Messi or any other footballers.

Like these man United youth players?

They probably hate women.
Why do people keep equating misogyny/anti-women with Andrew Tate? Andrew Tate's speech is more about taking up self-accountability, making yourself financial free, tackling depression and trying to motivate people to take up gym regularly and curing their mental health. Sure, some of his early days views were misogynistic and I don't agree with any of those points but I have to assume he wanted to garner as much attention as possible and edgy views always generate views.

It does violate my values. I was only using those names as an example, because someone on here wouldn't believe that having loads of children is part of being rich and were naively quoting figures from their wiki pages.

It doesn't mean I condone those actions at all.

Mate, why was your first crush on a dead middle aged lady?
