It shouldn’t but in the case of DaveK I will make an exception.

He is a poster who is most vehement in his criticism of the club,the manager,the stadium,the stadium sponsors, the directors and anything else he is obsessed about at any given moment in time.

Any Evertonian of such strong opinions about Everton who lives in Wigan and in reasonably close proximity to the HD who does not go the match at all is a little suspect IMHO…why would you not go to watch the team you supposedly support if you were able to? Unless he has a severe disability or no money which would restrict him but I don’t get that impression from his posts.

This morning he was claiming he already knew the results of any poll on Moyes future tenure and so had no need to set one up but results so far show he has had his eye well and truly wiped.

There are loads of Evertonians who are equally passionate who don’t attend matches on a regular basis due to location,cost and other commitments but they don’t infect every thread on this site with absolutist statements and opinions dressed up as facts…this poll thread is a great example.

BTW I am a season ticket holder who lives in London and watches Everton home and away so I don’t need a half Scottish keyboard warrior,who claims to be an Evertonian, living in Wigan who does not attend games, to tell me how to think about the club I’ve followed since 1970.

I’ve already commented on how much I agree with this post, but I just want to reaffirm that it’s one of the best serious posts I’ve ever read in this forum. A supporter, a real supporter, of this club for 56 years sees exactly what Davek is doing. You’re worth 1000 of him. Regardless of whether you like Moyes or not.
