In all seriousness:

Dyche
Silva
Van Gaal

I think Dyche may have done what Rodgers did to Liverpool. Refused to engage with us until he was the sole option and we are offering him the job. He has the most to lose by entering one of Everton’s infamous scattergun interview processes. If we’ve offered it to him then this may be wrapped up after the weekend as his break clause is low so we wouldn’t have the Watford problem. This scenario would fit Moshiri’s confidence in claiming it’s close (he’d look stupider than he already does if it fell through after claiming its close)

Either that or Silva is done and both sides have agreed to silence for the weekends game.

Either one of those scenarios sound convincing. I also have it in the back of my mind that Van Gaal didn't completely rule himself out of this job. I think he corrected what he was supposed to have said by stating he hadn't been offered it. Maybe an overture that was then taken up?
