This sounds like horse manure quite frankly. Getting out in front of it to point fingers. To blame the left and stir it up to have their members hate the feds even more.

First of all the feds would have made dummy accounts along time ago watching activity. Logging and saving what they needed.

Second of all why aren't they mad at the dumbass for publishing the wrong information. Which by the way seems very unlikely unless he or she actually very stupid.

The whole "technical" bit in that second tweet is hilarious. The guy is pretending not to know what he is talking about and quoting his "expert" friend is funny

Interesting how she was able to simply walk into it without doing much hacking because someone else at the end of last year found a bug and exploited it. Which parler team never fixed hahaha!

Great comment on NYT from someone named "East End." They aren't saying anything that a lot of us here don't already know, but it's both well said and worth repeating:

There will be countless times that the apologists for trump extremism will invoke some false equivalency about the "burning of the cities" by Black Lives Matter protesters last year. Let's consider that comparison for a moment. Who were the armed counter-protesters who showed up to intimidate and provoke violence? trumpers. When the authorities sought evidence of who were the perpetrators of the vandalism and arson that took place they frequently found right-wing militias and other fanatics had inserted themselves in order to discredit the otherwise non-violent crowds. Did BLM protesters kill any law enforcement officers? No. What happened at the Caiptol was many orders of magnitude beyond any BLM protests. None of the BLM protesters engaged in actions intended to disrupt the legislative process and attempt the overthrow of the US government. The contrasts between the law enforcement responses to BLM versus gun-toting right-wing militias who stormed the Capitol, pushed their way into the Michigan statehouse and threatened Michigan's governor are stark. The inherent bias is decidedly skewed toward coddling white supremacists while minorities who protest police brutality are given harsh treatment. If anyone had cause to be radicalized and violent in the streets it would be the BLM cadres. Instead, the overly-privileged, self-entitled, incessantly-whining trumpers fall victim to the lies of trump and his deceitful crowd of republican enablers and right-wing media pundits.

I’d argue that if his calendar was clear enough that he could travel 1000+ miles to participate in a midday, mid-week coup that maybe he wasn’t indispensable on the homefront.
