The point being that there was multiple reports in MSNBC and CNN that the response was considerably gentler towards y'all qaeda crowd yesterday because they didn't feel like antagonizing the crowd being the official reasoning. Whether one person differs is their opinion but it's contrary to everything else.
Well that’s exactly what Cuomo said until he asked the question. Then her response was different than what he expected/had been saying. Think someone mentioned the police response got harsher and more direct as the day went on. So possibly down to timing or which group of police it was
Look, I don’t think anyone thinks the response yesterday was appropriate, proportionate, or whatever but in general I do think it’s worth introducing multiple perspectives into political conversations, otherwise we only see what we want and confirmation bias is pretty dangerous. However, it’s tough to avoid that with today’s news sources.
I don’t typically watch CNN or MSNBC in particular because I know they’re pretty left driven and I never watch Fox News because, well, it’s Fox News. Flipped CNN on last night because it was the best coverage I could find at the time and was surprised at what I heard, so I shared it. You’re free to disregard it.
