I guess you know nothing about Ms. Biden. She is super fit, she is a devoted runner and while being a first lady she is going to continue teaching full time college classes. I am sure that takes a lot more energy and brain power than Melania putting her makeup on.

More exciting Friday news. Now that the two senate seats in Georgia are up for grabs then Democrats may have a chance for a 50-50 senate with Vice-president Harris breaking any tie.

If Obama wasn't progressive enough then I doubt I'll see a progressive (by those standards) US President in my lifetime. Clinton was a moderate and although Carter was progressive on racial issues in the post-Civil Rights South (which is a big deal) I don't know whether he was a true progressive (then again I was too young to remember much of his Presidency.) So then was Kennedy a progressive? That was 65+ years ago whether yes or no.

Carter was good on civil rights but in economics he did a lot of the early spadework for the large scale deregulation of business that the subsequent Reagan administration would expand.

I think Obama's politics occupy the space between Bill Clinton to his right and Hillary Clinton to his left.

I wonder how much of Trump's complaints could have been avoided if the US got their stuff together for the election infrastructure and these states could actually count all of the vote on the actual night.

A country like the US taking over half a week to count their votes is a bit of a joke tbh.

Maybe this is the infrastructure week he's been talking about for four years?
