As a matter of principle I don’t see why mail voters (who could well be elderly, physically handicapped, rural) should have less time to decide who they want for president than those who are fortunate enough to be able to walk into a voting booth on election day. Especially if they have to pass the “how long is a piece of string” test to determine how long it is going to take for the mail to get to their election office.
And in this election there was a not insignificant chance that, given their age and a pandemic, one/both of the candidates may not have even made it to election day!
I know we shouldn't necessarily base opinions on bookies. But Biden is a massive favourite now

if Ossoff can get Purdue to under 50% there’ll be 2 Georgia senate runoffs on Jan 5. If Dems win both, tbe Senate goes 50/50 and Harris would have the deciding vote. It’s a long shot!
