Too damn much at stake for hunches darling
looks like the worst outcome, a close race and maybe the postal votes to decide it, hope one of them pulls away before that happens for the sake of the people in the USA ,it will cause murder if it goes to the postal vote.
No necessarily. Congress most important power is the authority to make laws. A bill, or proposed law, only becomes a law after both the House of Representatives and the Senate have approved it in the same form. In addition to this main power, the constitution grants each house some other powers that the other may no have. For example, the Senate has the power to appoint federal judges but the House doesn't. But it is the house the institution with the power to start an impeachment inquiry, the Senate doesn't have such power. A main difference is that senators gets elected every six years in staggered elections. While the whole house gets voted every 2 years, there is not staggered elections with them.Ahhh okay, so essentially the Senate have the opportunity to veto motions passed by the house?
Am I right in assuming that the Senate have more influence than the House of Lords too?
its going to the courts, where Trump has the advantage
Oh yes he will. This was exactly the dream scenario for the Trump campaign. They are going to begin with their tune to delegitimize this election. Not a twitter person but just saw one from Trump on CNN website that said he will make a statement then ended it with Big Win. Will he claim it?
