Probably Liverpool do not give a damn about their ladies team, as long as they can say they have one. I am not being critical of LFC in this respect as I am certain the feeling is shared among many. Imagine if LFC mens team were threatened with relegation, you would have it plastered all over the Echo. As it is, it is non-news.

The FA Board has reached a majority decision to decide the season on basic PPG. Chelsea declared champions of the FA WSL. Manchester City join them in the UWCL. Two-time FA WSL champions Liverpool relegated to the FA WC. Aston Villa promoted to the FA WSL for the first time.
