Thank Goodness for David Moyes

Through dealing in the transfer market, yes I do. He just did that with McFadden and AJ, he sold 2 players for good money who weren't key players.

Transfers are part of football business and it's a part that is in the manager's hands.
Not in todays game most clubs ask the manager who he wants and then go and do the deal.(y)

I agree, trading in players is an art and it's all part and parcel of a managers job and something Moyes has excelled in. It'd also be nice though, wouldn't it, if he was getting a great big helping hand off a well run commercial arm of the club?

Remember that it was Rooney's money that allowed us to come out of the hole we were in.

We need Moyes to pick up another bargain every now and then.

That's what he has done and that's what he'll have to do for the coming years.

If he wants to spend at will, then he'll have to move on...but where to?

it was a relief to hear his name sang BEFORE the game today, i was dreading the mood in the away end being dictated by the doomsters that have been around over the last week.
I have never heard our away support be anything but great, for years I have wondered how when we play at home it all changes:huh:

all those folks are scattered around g.p. you'd think that would be spreading the love but never seems to work out like that. we do need to sing more though, i did my best and most seemed up for it but if it doesnt take off immediately then they stop.

Goodison park is no different to anywhere else. The majority of atmospheres in the Prem are [Poor language removed], only the away fans make the atmosphere.

It's only really big games and derbies that you get good atmospheres.

truly, without moyes we would be in the championship now.

I don't know about that.

We could be.

I figure that if he wasn't here we'd be more like Bolton.

Win enough to keep us in the Premier League but no where near the European spots and probably in the bottom half of the table on a consistent basis.

Without Moyes we could be Premier league champions. Nobody knows.

Of course Davey is far more good than he is bad. Everyone has their faults, even him but on the whole of things he has been nothing but good for Everton Football Club.

Moysie has done a remarkable job with us.
Nothing has changed from last week we still have no new players only rumours, but if we carry on into the season with no more players added the one man i would want to steer us would be moysie.
