He used to get some stick at the latter end of his career and he's always mentioned in relation to that late cup final replay defeat to Villa at OT. But as I remember as a lad from that period he was quite decent on the ball if he had time on it.

Deepest sympathy to all the family on the sad loss of Terry. We all know how much Terry was a great Evertonian. He was also the genuine article... good hearted, funny, respectful and a thorough gentleman. He never forgot his roots and did St Anne's RC, Overbury Street proud.

I've just finished reading the Nevin book and there's a story in it from Pat where Terry and Colin Harvey pick him up at Manchester airport to try and clinch the deal - and they've made a tape of indie music playing in the background to try and influence him to sign. lol
