I thought other teams looked at us and our board and said "what would Everton do?" not the other way around.
Well we can definitely do pitch invasions and this in itself seems to be enough for the media to want us to go down. We also love a good flare (yes maybe even those you wear). We can 100% surpass this by singing 'Good Times' by Chic for the full 90 mins during our final game, before the obligatory pitch invasion and flare throwing. You think an alleged headlock is bad... the bar is set very high with how they reacted when they lost the relegation playoff. Massive pitch invasion straight after the final whistle and throwing lit flares at the squad as they scrambled into the tunnel for safety.
Is this where we become a team that nobody will acknowledge that it actually exists? I'm not sure whether this would be preferable to being disbanded, or would we thrive in being ignored and despised by every other team.Milton Keynes
Thinking outside of the box?!? Not sure about the 1986 Challenger Mission as they undoubtedly were highly skilled individuals that were let down by circumstances out of their control. The backroom support may have been responsible but not the guys in the shuttle. The same cannot be said for our team where the players on the pitch are equally as poor as the board and management. As for Price Ed he didn't fail in all respects. Yes he was derided by the media, but it was watched by 18 million in this country alone and his team finished in 3rd place. (Admittedly there were only 4 teams). We can do so much better than this. If we had a team in that event we would undoubtedly have received the wooden spoon. The team in charge of the 1986 Challenger mission?
Prince Edward's management of the It's a Royal Knockout?
That is amazingLads, we got relegated once with Dixie Dean in the side.
I’m going with Clubmoor Under-12s as our current level.
He scored 23 league goals that season. I mean that’s staggering really. But top man that he was he stayed and we went straight back up. It’s not really surprising we are where we are when you look at our record over the last number of years. All teams that flirt regularly with relegation succumb in the end. Clubmoor Under 12’s are not going to be happy with that comparison, you may need to get yourself some legal assistance!Lads, we got relegated once with Dixie Dean in the side.

I saw them at home about ten years ago and couldn't agree more. Big club but seething fan base at odds with the management. Only difference was the cracking new stadium.Hamburger SV for sure. The parallels are uncanny. One of the most traditionally great clubs in their league, a port city club, the best side in Europe in the 1980s, defeating Bayern was one of their all-time highs, ever-present in the top flight, utterly mismanaged. Still in the second division after the unthinkable happened.
Only 1 season down in the 2nd tier in recent decades. But the half built stadium is right up our alley. With ours being in such a prominent riverside position it could provide an embarrassing spectacle for years to come.valencia, who I believe still have a half built stadium sitting collecting dust.
