Someone is going to have to have a word with Miralles to give his new fellow Belgian Lukaku a regular reach around this season as its imperative we convert the loan to a permanent deal.

it's the mere fact that our "reserves" are so strong that I'm delighted with things:

Robles, Hibbo, Oviedo, Stones, Heitinga, Osman, Gibson, Deulofeu, Kone, Jelavic, Naismith, Alcaraz, Gueye, Vellios

Obviously we expect Lukaku to be first choice (albeit with the reservation that he was often an impact sub for Albion last season) - so, after the Chelsea game we might expect a starting XI of

Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Pienaar, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku - or similar.

My line up for the Chelsea game:

Tim Howard
Seamus Coleman - Phill Jagielka - Sylvian Distin - Leighton Baines
James McCarthy - Gareth Barry
Kevin Mirallas - Ross Barkley - Steven Pienaar
Arouna Kone

Subs: Joel Robles - John Stones - Johny Heitinga - Darron Gibson - Leon Osman - Gerard Deulofeu - Nikica Jelavic

Kone will start against Chelsea and if he plays well and scores then that could keep Lukaku out I the team for the next game. Kone and Jelavic know they have got to perform

*Depends on whether Gibson is fit or not.

All in all things are looking up.
