This won't be popular, but I'd give real thought to playing Browning or Stones at RB. Maybe sitting a game or two will revitalize Seamus.

Stones at RB would be stupid given how well him and Jags are playing. It's a good point you make though - but in a tough away European fixture on a fake pitch, I wouldn't be starting Browning.

If Baines is fit he'll start, but if not Oviedo should play as he's not done anything to warrant been benched.

Howard or Robles is another tough one. I think with Bobby's recent comments about Howard that he'll keep his place - and I don't understand people saying he had a bad game vs. Chelsea - he was solid and commanding and looked better than he has done all season. Then again Robles has done well and he could flourish as our 'cup keeper'.

----------------------Howard--------------
Coleman---Stones---Jagielka---Baines (if fit)
-------McCarthy---Barry---Besic-------------
----Lukaku----Naismith------Mirallas--------

Subs: Robles, Gibson, McGeady (if fit), Oviedo/Garbutt (depending on Baines), Kone, Atsu, Barks

With the LC fixture being an important one and a short turnaround in between, the selection for the away leg should be interesting.
Howard (if it were at Goodison i would go Robles, but am OK either way here)
Coleman, Stones Jags Oviedo
McCarthy Barry
Mirallas Naismith Atsu
Kone

I would try to play through the right side. I want to save Baines and Lennon for LC. I would not be heart broken to see Besic in or Coleman out. Lukaku and Besic would be "planned" subs for late on. Have to take this game seriously, but not at total expense of league match.

Robles
Coleman Jags Stones Garbutt/Baines
Barry Besic
Mirallas Barkley Oviedo
Lukaku

Give Kone at least 30mins.... why is he not getting any mins?

As much as I think Barry has struggled this year, I think an away game in Europe is what can bring out the best in him. We'll need experience and I don't think his lack of pace will be as on display as in the premier league. And I think Tim played much better at Chelsea and I think he'll bring it in the Europa. Leave Bainesy and Rom out for Leicester, which is a must win and then we can stop talking about relegation.

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Oviedo
McCarthy Barry
Mirallas Barkley Atsu
Kone

it's not names that win a game.

our next transfers to bigger leagues will be sanogo and steffen. they're brilliant and can make the difference in a game.

btw. we have a londoner in our squad

Never said names win you games, just as well for you as Scott Sutter is a badly gash name, coupled with the fact he's a cockney would mean we'd hammer you 10-0 over the two legs if names won you games, have you seen Mirallas' full name, wow.

COYB, uh-oh that mightn't work for us over these two legs.
