Well if you believe the rumours. I think we have about 12m at the most to spend atm. Just because we have apparently made bids for those players that amounts to whatever doesn't mean squat. For all we know 1 was rejected so we moved onto the next target. Ofcourse there is also the posibility that we know were getting cash coming In from the Sheihk so we are going after more players only time will tell.

However I'm starting to think that many off is has fallen hook line and sinker for this one.

Actually we'd need quite a lot more because historically the club has spent about 2-3 million every year on transfers under Moyes.

But yes, it is just about possible that the club has an extra ten million or so to spend.

How great would it be if this was all bullshite and we end of signing nobody,dropping down go 10th as wigan take our place after be bought by some poor by there standards Arab
 

bluekipper is down, wsag is down is their anything actually going on? or has one news source posted something false and everyone's taking it too seriously?
 

I have read all the posts and have to say I am very sceptical that it is us. The story as far as I can see has no real foundation. On another point 60% of the shares would be a takeover as that would be the majority holding.

So calm down all, it is not us.

I will go along with DaveK, we have been here before and Toad aka as BK will not give up his train set Choo Choo.

2. Someone (Green?) has lent Bill some money for some reason.

3. The Lescott deal (or some other player) has been agreed in principal but has not been made public yet before the club can sign some players. Doesn't matter for City if they delay the signing a week or two, but for Everton it gives them time to sign someone first.

Sheff Utd have already said that no bids have been received from any club yet.

Just media rubbish that everyone still gets sucked in by.

Done a bit more research on this Sheikh dude and it appears that he's a very good businessman!

Apparently the country (RAK) has seen an unbelivable rise in economic growth and fortune under his leadership.

Also although he isn't 'oil' rich at the moment RAK Petrolium is currently looking to expand its operations and increase their contribution to the economy from 4%. i.e. build more oil wells etc and earn mucho's money!

Thats about all I could find out tho. :(
