Now someone on kipper says its not Birmingham because he's popped over to their forums and their fans dont think its them because there's no one with a 60% stake in the club -

Sullivan/Golds 47%
Yeung 30%
Free floating shares 23%

The West Ham deal is sown up...

So, i'm still thinking its Pompey...but push comes to shove it could be [Poor language removed]...but then again they've just got refinance and non of the owners want to sell up....

Portsmmouth are barley a leading prem club and this guy jinks they are it a good
Thing it's not us. And rs, well I don't want to think about that possibility

actually, who thinks it's a load of bull made up by this sheikh bloke to get everyone excited. I can imagine him now

Sheikh on internet: "Ha ha ha, theres a load of people on...grand old team getting worked up about it all, god i'm evil, mwahahahah etc.

see?

Good chance it maybe us IMO....just seems too close (Shadow chairman thing, just 60% of the club). And a "top" club? Out of your top 4 you've got Villa, Spurs, Citeh, really and non of them are selling up...

It could be just bollocks like and no one has been bought.

From the LFC Boards:

"Talk sport saying there sources have said Bill Kenwright has sold 61% of the club."

Not sure i'll be ale to sleep till we hear either way about this one

Well:

Pompey: in due dillegence with another bidder

West Ham: Have been taken over in the past week

Villa: Have Lerner (Billionaire)

Fulham: Al Fayed has said he has no intrest in selling

The [Poor language removed]: Hicks has sold one of his francises today to help him finance them.

Man Utd: Have the Glazers

Arsenal: Have two billionaires with a massive shareholding fighting for control.

Wolves: Wouldnt think so have Steve Morgan

Spurs: Maybe

Sunderland: Just taken over

Chelsea: No way

City: No way

Bolton: Why would you?

Stoke: Why would you?

Burnley: Why would you?

Hull: Why would you?

Balckburn: Why would you?

Wigan: Why would you?

Birmingham: Maybe

The likely targets

Porstmouth: To me its us, portsmouth or the rs. Portsmouth, if its them, puts them in a difficult situation via due diligence, but I don't know enough about due diligence to comment further.

The RS: A restructure of finances which could see either Statler or Waldorf (of muppets fame) depart. Either would become minor partners in the rs.

Us: Blue Bill giving up his trainset, but being involved in some part, thus to 60% rather than 100%.

If it was any of the other prem clubs (apart from spurs) the term "leading" would be a hyperbole too far in my book.
