For 10-11m, look at it as a swap for AJ, i am.. and i would take SWP over AJ im affraid.

Would really like him in but cant help but think we're having our legs pulled by the chelski lot.

Come on BK & DM get this lad signed and show other targets we mean buissnes now !

I'll believe it when I see it

If we're going to be doing business with Chelsea, should take a look at either Ferreira or Belletti whilst we're at it.

Bosingwa immediately looks the business in the Premiership and is always going to be favourite for that position if fit, they might look to offload one of the other 2 since Essien's handy cover as well. Just means that we wouldn't have to worry about Hibbert's fitness or playing a semi-injured Neville if we loaned one til January or something.

Just a thought.

There goes yours and HalewoodBlues' whisky and a bottle of pills party then.

Our attacking from the right side is utterly inept, even when Arteta plays on that side. Maybe he can help out.

One warning though: SWP needs the ball, ALOT, for him to be effective. When he really blossomed at City is when they would just get him the ball and get out of his way. So you may have to change the gameplan and run the offence through him instead of Arteta.

If we play Arteta centrally which will probably happen we will be able to control games and control possession. He has the ability to start attacks and get SWP into good attacking positions where he can run at people.

SWP has everything except end product. His final cross is very hit and miss. Saying that though his pace and dribbling is good, he gets goals and he'll stretch teams when we are on the back foot.

He's also versatile. He can play on the right/left wing, he can play in the middle of a three man midfield as he did against us in the Semi and he can play as a striker/second striker.

I'm sure the fans will love him if he joins, he's got an excellent workrate aswell like Ossie and Pienaar.

It`s a well known fact that Arteta wants to play in the centre, which would leave a place for a decent right sided player, however i doubt very much it will be SWP, its a wind up lads...trust me.... i live near Portsmouth now. unfortunatley he will end up there with his mate Defoe.

He just wants to hump Crouch's leg, that's all.
