A good point that wasnt picked up from yesterday, is that Lescott and Yobo formed a really good partnership. If that happens then I reckon Baines will be slotted in as left back.

We'll just have to get Zigic in to offset any lack of height in the team - right kind of guy if we get an out-and-out winger as well.

Lescott is a much better left back and much better than the other 2 left backs at the club

If we get this Stephane M'Bia who is tall and maybe Zigic we'll be a big enough team. The likes of Baines, Osman, Pienaar and possibly Lil WP won't have to worry.

Youre probably right but I think Joleon sees himself as a centre half and if he slots in with Yobo then Im one of the ones who rates Baines mate. Lets wait and see.

Tough, he is better at left back and he should do whats best for the side. Think Moyes is only playing him there as he has no-one at the moment

websites are reporting this as a done deal, but I get the feeling it'd be all over the OS if this was the case. Would welcome him here, think his talent has been wasted down in chelsea, but whether we could keep him for more than a season is another thing. Moyes will bring his mojo back, but wages could be the stumbling block as everyone has said.

agree with the zigic statement that was posted, would dovetail well. one more midget can't hurt as long as we get some lanky streaks of piss in as well.

but obviously its all a load of [Poor language removed] and we'll be playing the under 11's next week.
