There is a very good article in the Daily Mail todat surprise, surprise that Everton are ready and could compete in the CL. The article criticises the the way our EX installed a glass ceiling at the club and did not encourage the players and pints out Roberto is exactly the opposite hence our decent season so far.

I wish I could put a link up but do not know how, perhaps someone can manage it, it is a good positive read about our club.

Nah lads. We're under the cosh for 92 minutes, managed to hold on for 0-0 under the floodlights at Goodison. Massive boot up-field clearance by Jags, nobody sees Coleman sprinting upfield, 1 on 1 with Valdes, goes round him... GOOOAAAAAAALLLL.

Ha ha well last night it was Real Madrid up against our Blue Boys c April 2015.

It was a tough game at the Bernabéu but Mirallas, Lukaku and Bainesy in particular were in rampant mood. I could even do a full match report it was so real!

Now I know to date we've done nothing under Martinez. I know that.

But there simply comes a point when you appreciate things feel better than they have done for a long time. A lot better.

Was at the game yesterday and go to most of the Barça games and Ive been thinking something similar.

Once Messi gets in form they would be difficult for us to handle without doing a bit of bus parking I think. I wonder would Bobby apply the same tactics.. At the very least Id say having watched every game of both teams this season(apart from QPR..love to find a full game download) that we are as close to that very top level of performances as we have ever been and have been much better to watch on many of the matchdays and I definitely havent said that before in yeara of watching both!
