You have to question Martinez here - he's not reacting tactically to the game in front of him if he isn't trying to address that right side. Lukaku for Eto'o this early isn't the answer surely.

Never really been too bothered about this competition, but I am alarmed at the developing pattern of dreadful defending and lack of tempo.
Whatever happens in the next 45 minutes the big questions for me are about what we do in the next 2 league fixtures. Neither of the sides we face have looked convincing and seem to be having similar issues. Lose both heavily and Roberto will come under pressure like he has never seen. Shame as I desperately want him to succeed, but this is a results business and a cut throat one too.

Complete nonsense. It's one part of one season in his time at the club. There should be support not bloody pressure!

This is the exact kind of nonsense that annoys the hell out of me about football fans these days.

so poor today, need to get a confidence boost badly for Saturday, too many new players or half fit ones, goals per shot on target figure against us is becoming laughably bad now as well

I’m not watching just listening and reading. I agree with those who are pissed of at Besic and also with those who think he’ll be good. The most important thing is that he’s gonna be a future player.Realisticly You just can’t think that coming from an utterly league he’ll be amazing from now on in the PL. It’s not magic but it’s higher football. He made mistakes and he'll make another ones that’s for sure. He needs at least half an year to keep up if not more. Reduced playtime but some of it is necessary, he’s one of the most important players in his national team and one of the best too. Can’t wait to see him against Bale.
