Was an added bonus to avoid cards for Barry, Barkley and Howard again.

Clattenburg will have them suspended you just know it, or Sunderland/Cattermole will drag us into a scrap in midfield at get suspensions either way I doubt both will make it through without picking up a booking

I think we'll need to beat 2 of Arsenal, Man U and Man City at home and draw the other as well as not lose to Liverpool away to just get 4th
We've done well recently to avoid the draws that plagued us in the early weeks of the season. Things are looking well, and if we can keep up our home form and avoid defeat to those in direct competition to us away we'll be doing fine.

The problem is any of those teams can and possibly will throw cash at their problems in January... and we will have to just keep our fingers crossed and hope we don't pick up any injuries whilst knowing no decent players to enter the first XI will be forthcoming any time soon.

It'd be a phenominal achievement to get near the top four, but I won't believe it is possible until it actually happens.

Let's not forget lids we only got CL in 2004/5 because certain other teams massively underperformed and we just about did enough in the first half of the season to scrape fourth.

Don't want us all getting carried away. We'll need to beat two of Arsenal/City/Chelsea/RS/United to make it into the CL, which is an absolutely huge ask. And that's not taking Spurs into account who, if they pick up form, are a danger too.

We're looking good, but injuries could de-rail our season at any time. Let's just hope we continue playing well and, more importantly, keeping up this habit of getting the points on off days. Fingers are crossed.

As long as we take a gun to a gun fight.

This is all that matters.

Then its a case of our team doing this (metaphorically) to all comers where we can. No fear. Like the 1980's.

great atmosphere at the ground today before the game and during the game especially 2nd half.

Lol

I don't know mate. For long periods, especially in the 1st half and up to our first goal, I swear I heard martinez walking to the touchline in those shoes and some lad talking about his plans for boxing day (girlfriends b day I think)

Extended highlights on Everton TV at midnight (I think).

Think your right for people in the EU

From EvertonTV:-

"Highlights are available as soon as competition rules allow. For weekend Premier League games (Saturday or Sunday) this is midnight on the day of the game in the EU. Highlights are available worldwide from 10pm on the day after a weekend (Saturday or Sunday) fixture has been played."

I don't know who Coleman supported before but I think he's a blue full stop now. After his goal he just went berserk in front of the away fans.

His wiki page says he supports Donegal senior football team.

I noticed he was scouted by former Celtic player and Sligo Rovers manager Willie McStay and recommended to Celtic. Glad they never signed him.:D
