Barkley just awful. Koeman will not give him much longer. Wht does he stand and let players run pastr him without even shaping to tackle.....Lennons work rate might be useful here. Good points...GazBaz superb, Gana and Bolassie dangerous, back four playing well. Lukaku had some chances and is making an effort. Our keeper looks like he knows his job, and is very competent. Barkley needs to not be throwing away his top flight career away...that's the perception at present.

This is absolutely correct. The word 'liability' gets overused to describe very rubbish players, but in this instance and context, it's bang on. Lukaku's complete lack of involvement is essentially leaving us with 10 men. As said, whilst Kone represents a substantial drop in player quality, he will provide a lot more movement which would bring the other attacking players into the game more.

Rom has been poor but he needs service.
