What would be perfect, would be for us to get into a two-nil lead then bring off Barry who is on the verge of a two-game ban, and then get Lukaku off too.

So then, we should win this, right? Too much Everton in me to just relax and expect the auto-pay to drop the win into my bank account, simply because we've been so boss.

Bobby's been exorcizing the bottle out of our blue clad heroes that OFM installed so deeply these past few years, and the run to the finish will see if it is well and truly stuck in or not. We will have some amazing moments over the next few weeks if our boys do that which must be done and get us ready to host some boss Tuesday/Wednesday night action in the old lady next term. Still...

Prove me wrong again, Everton. After all, "deese are shoit, deese" innit?

Everton to win in my EPL pool this week. Finally broke my duck and won last week off my Everton to win pick - it's been a lonnnnng tough year for the Gwladys Knights.

Super as usual Chics.

Need to be weary of these, they need the points and will try and pressure us from the start. We should have enough to do them like.

Forza Los Azules.

best write up yet, p*ssing meself laughing about the stick you gave to poyet - haunted chimp looking tit ha ha, i'm editing out the best bits to email onto the lads (they'll never read the whole preview)

Great preview Chico, you found 3 distinct ways to describe the indescribable face of Poyet.

I'd like to see:

Howard
Coleman Stones Distin Baines
McCarthy Barkley
Deulofeu Naismith McGeady
Lukaku

With Osman coming in for Lukaku and moving Naismith upfront once we have a comfy lead

I think we can win this comfortably as long as the players treat this similarly to the Arsenal match, every game has to be a cup final. We can't go out there like the 1st half at Fulham where we were lucky to be 0-0 at HT. Get 'em fired up Roberto.

Come on you bluee boyysss.

im not evening thinking of europe yet.... well trying not to.
first hurdle is staying ahead of spurs and utd. to do that we must win this match , then palace and then utd.
if we do well in these next 3 games or spurs utd and arsenal slip up , then ill start thinking about europe.
sunderland must come out all guns blazing , they have to win and just got tonked by spurs.
so we have to be on our best game for this.
i also think we owe them a tonking and a tip towards relegation ..... they ruined christmas and the martinez honeymoon imo.
not gonna predict a score or team , im just going to be as nervous as hell watching it.

I go for a 1-0 or 2-0 Everton win, this is in effect our game in hand [v arsenal in the race for 4th] as we will have played the same games after sunderland match, and we are both playing midweek.

Absolutely massive game. This is the game in hand on Arsenal, so we need to not bottle it as it'll give them a big boost if we do. Palace is the same for similar reasons (that's the game in hand on Spurs).

Win on Saturday and it's properly on. Kind of consolidates the massive turn around we've put on here.

Another 3-0 to the blue boys.

4th is on.
