Must piss him off being second choice to Giroud though?

Yeah probably does, not sure he is even 2nd choice now. sanogo plays more often.

Doesn't strike me as a Everton type player either. Very technical and fast, I would love him like.

Agirretxe has just scored a great goal for Real sociedad. Id like any of Real's front 3 but he's the most realistic shout. Good player.

Antonio Candreva from Lazio. Their fans boycott games and their owners are terrible, so they'll probably be selling players who want to leave. Candreva's their best player, wing mid who also plays for Italy

We need the majority of our business done before the World Cup. It is going to be manic after in August.

IN's

Barry - Bosman
Mame Diouf - Bosman
Aaron Hunt - Bosman
Wilifred Bony - £12-15m
Gerard Deulofeu - loan

OUT's
Gueye - £1m
Vellios - released
Lukaku - rejoins Chelsea

Would leave our squad depth

GK - Howard No.1, Robles given another season to prove if he is good enough - probably not so we can sort this out in summer 2015. Also Stanek to be monitored to see progression.

RB - Coleman, Hibbert, Stones
LB - Baines, Oviedo, Garbutt

CB - Distin, Jagielka, Stones, Alcaraz, Duffy Leaves this issue to be sorted in summer 2015. Are Alcarez and Stones good enough to replace Distin?

CM - Barry, McCarthy, Gibson, Hunt, Lundstram, Osman

AM - Barkley, Hunt, Osman, Naismith, Green

LW - Mirallas, Pienaar, McGeady, Deulofeu, Naismith

RW - as above

ST - Bony, Diouf, Kone

I'd be happy enough with that. Anyone agree?

Mame Diouf is actually a good idea. He's stated that he is unwilling to extend his contract, so he's a realistic target. You would have to pay him a hefty signing-on fee, but hey, that would be a quality striker on a free deal. I'd be more than happy with him.

Not sure if it's been posted but paper talk that us, the RS, and two other clubs I can't remember could be interested in m'vila as Kazan said he could go

Saw us linked to Sadio Mane of Red Bull Salzburg this morning. He's good, but its Kevin Kampl we should be looking at from them. Exactly what our midfield needs.

Hmmm, both look great talents, i wouldnt mind em both tbh. Salzburg have some good players, them 2, Soriano, Berisha, the 2 CB's Hinteregger & André Ramalho, Isaac Vorsah.

Seen us linked to M'Vila this morning and apparently he can leave Rubin Kazan. As good as Barry as been for us this season, i think it would make more sense to sign a player like M'Vila, who is really good already and can get much better and his alot younger than Barry.

If we make Europe and Martinez does get a decent amount of money from the board to put towards what he saved from sales in the summer and January, i'd like us to make 2 or 3 statement signings that can push us on, a bit like Spurs did a couple of years ago with signings like Modric, van der Vaart and Sandro etc when they were pushing for CL.

Both would be great. I'd be happy as if the pair joined. The problem is we'd be looking at something like 20m for both. Salzburg are a rich club with embarrassing resources considering the league they are in.

M'Vila is a good player but has he sorted his attitude out? There's a good team spirit at Everton, the majority of our players have known each other for years at one level or the other. There's connections all over the place. I would not want to risk jeopardising that if I'm honest.
