We clearly didn't spend £5m on Gareth Barry ffs

Go on google or where ever mate and look it up. Whats he on a week, £120K? Add that up for a year, well, not even that, 10 months! It works out at £5m or more and like I said. At the time of signing him, I read we agreed to pay all his wages for year as Pellegrini wouldn't allow him to leave otherwise.

I honestly think we may get a good deal on lukaku off Chelsea, who in return will put a buy back clause in there.

Were gonna need at least:
2 strikers
1 CM
1 CB

That's if we get Gerrard and Barry back next year. EL means we'll need even more!

Can't see us being able to afford lukaku as well as others. Tricky!

You honestly think we would pay a player 120k a week?

If we've spent £10m on Kone and a one year loan Martinez needs shooting.

We spent £6m on Kone, anything from £750K to £2m on Joel and then what we pay on Deulofeu will be based on how many games he plays for us, or doesn't for a matter of fact as the less he plays the more we pay apparently.

In the summer we had roughly £10m to spend before sales which we put out on Kone, Joel, Deulofeu & giving Alcaraz a deal

I don't i'll be honest with you, but Barry was by all accounts a major target and we could only afford him once we'd sold Felli, bit of a coincidence?

IF City agreed to subsidise his wages by 50% say, surely we could of afforded to strike a deal at £60K a week for him for season way before we did sign him?! We'd got rid of a few high earners already, Moyes & Neville etc, plus the tv money, surely by paying 50% of his wages we could of signed him sooner?!

They didn't need him, that's why they loaned him to us. We've never paid a player £100k a week, you're sniffing pyar glue if you think we'd pay £20k on top of that for a loan signing.

Why would City care about his wages tho, I mean lets pretend that he was a major target, its City, like they care about 120k a week.

It's alright saying cos there loaded they wont care about his wages or letting him go and sudsidising but apparently Pellegrini didn't want him but also didn't want to be paying the majority of his wages and would only let him go if a club paid most or all of his wages, that's what I read leading up to us signing him.

Tbh it makes sense as to why we signed him so late, AFTER Fellaini signed for United, as we had the money then to give City what they wanted for Barry.

More on the transfer front now though, we should be looking at players like Volland and Firmino of Hoffenheim who are 2 really good players at a mid table club in Germany!

I've heard of this Firmino chap.

Never seen him.

Can you please give me a scouting report on him?

Dortmund are looking at Volland aren't they?
I don't know much but I'd take Casemiro off of Madrids hands if they aren't using him or Ganso, now I think of Brazilians.
