Isaac Cuenca? He would be a signing and half! Is he really gonna be on a free this summer though?
He's 20 and raw as hell still,so maybe I'm being overly critical. But to me, his price distorts his value to the team.True, long term he would be a brilliant signing but not what we need right now to end the drought
I dunno tbh. He's a big physical presence and he's pretty good at finishing but he'd really have to improve to be worth the outlay, whatever our budget.
Injury prone though isn't he?
But on a free deffo worth a punt.
See, I see no difference really between him and Bony, age aside. Drogba admittedly blossomed late, but I think Lukaku is missing a bit of the guile and finesse of Drogba.i think he's worth £20m, just probably not to us, purely because of our financial position. he reminds me so much of drogba, and he's scored against a lot of the top teams already, a hat-trick off the bench vs united last season as well.
I think Lukaku is absolute class and will only get better. £20m will be an absolute snip and thats why I dont think he'll go for that!
I actually am going to be a bit controversial- for us to compete next season we need another another centre half- someone imperious in the air and dominates from set pieces- we concede far too many from free kicks and corners.
We need to sign a tricky midfielder, a Defour or a Moutinho type to put his foot on the ball and pick a pass and obviously a top striker- whether that be Lukaku or A.N Other.
I know its a bit Football Manager but I really like the look of that Batshuayi- looks a player in the making.

I'm not saying he's bad. Please don't get me wrong. But 20m, for us, with a lot of it based on what he could potentially become, rather than what he is now, is a huge amount. I also think if you put somebody like a fit and happy and younger Adebayor, who was a genuine 20m striker, up front for us, we'd be a whole lot better off points wise. But age is massive. Hes 20- think about that for a minute.
When do strikers mature and perform at their peak?! Normally history shows us about 27-32 so if hes this good now whats he going to be like in a few years time.
The way he picked the ball up on the wing yesterday, walked passed a couple a couple of players, dropped the shoulders and curled one towards the top corner was top drawer. Just want to see him do it more often.
