Summer transfers. Just a question?

First things first we need to tie up pienaar and drenthe.

Secondly having only jelavic and Vic we will have to do some business in the striking dept. Maybe tying up a deal for straq and going for maybe rodellaga as hes different from the rest.

Then there's the Cahill situation. He needs replacing next season. Whether moyes wants to buy someone or thinks ossie and Barkley are the answer I don't know.

Where's this Pranjic story come from? Are yous just on about that interview he gave a day or two after the window? Would def be a tidy signing. Hopefully alongside Pienaar and Drenthe rather than instead of one or both.

I agree with whoever said signing those lot would have us looking like quite a complete side with everyone fit. If Jelavic, Rodwell and Barkley turn out to be the players we hope they are we'd be strong all over the park. It'd only be at right back that we needed to strengthen and we've got the two best sh1t players in the world to play there. I'll settle for that.

If Moyes manages to pull off all of the above moves he'll have done very well to make us relatively boss again after the departures of Arteta and Pienaar had us looking so rough earlier this season. I hate going on about how skint we are, but with the lack of funds available I was skeptical about whether Moyes had it in him to build a new team capable of troubling the top quarter of the league. It's quite plausible that he's on the cusp of doing it.

Agreed, I had my doubts earlier in the season for sure, but it looks like Moyles might be just about to jam my hasty words right down my ungrateful craw.

TBH, could't be more happy to be made to look a fool. Long may it continue.

His performance yesterday proved he will almost surely be a top 4 player next year. Still, worth a try. I'd sell Rodwell and spend on a creative central midfielder and a right back, plus the loanees.

Someone said LCAB said on Twitter(?) about Pranjic coming in the summer. I agree with you that if we tie up our current signings and don't lose anyone of significance, we have a pretty much complete XI. Might have need for cover but with the kids and maybe the added bonus of the left sided Pranjic we wouldn't have to go to a gunfight with a spoon.
