He scored some important goals for us and as I said did well to block channels and break up opposition midfield rhythm. As someone else posted his passing was pretty poor but overall was a productive player. However unfashionable his type of player is there is a place for them.

Thank God Moyes rates players like KDH. I’d much rather have him in that advanced midfield/10/whatever you wanna call it role over Doucoure

Soucek also should be nowhere near that role if he joined Everton, same as if Doucoure stayed, their energy is just as helpful deeper than further up the pitch.

George maybe but dont think the club will buy grealish unless is a reduced fee, if anything be another loan. Disagree with the wide positions as we do need another still dont have pace on the wings. Club could bring in another winger who can play out wide and as a cf

I think both are here next season, whether Grealish on a loan or a permanent I dont see a big fee. Grealish & George to come in and join Ndiaye & Dibling to complete the wide options.

Then the focus must be on full backs.

In principal yes, though I think KDH's best games for us were when used alongside Garner as an 8.

In that advanced midfield role (which we may as well loosely call a 10), we've got a decent return of goals and assists out of him and he's somewhat in between a Doucoure and a true 10 in terms of profile.

If we had him at 8 though with a true 10 (think Bruno Fernandes level) to link with...that could be a gamechanger.

I honestly don't see George here next season, Moyes will send him back. Also, would George want to be here if he's warming the bench the majority of the time?

I'd honestly love us to have a younger upgraded version of either player but unlikely we could scout a young one or afford the finished article. I have a feeling given the rise in season ticket prices that TFG are fattening us up for a quick sale so I'm not getting too excited about the Summer transfer window.

Just dont really see the point of soucek as could see gana getting another season atleast. But still wouldnt stop me from bringing in another cm then need to be making sure armstrong gets a good loan maybe at higher level than championship se can come back and kick on

KDH got a lot of sneering when linked too. People are far happier with someone they have never heard of than a well established decent quality Prem player!

Wouldn't surprise me to see him loaned out to another club. Coventry with Lampard is a good shout.

Technically Doucoure rejected a new contract mate, we wanted him to stay albeit on possibly reduced terms. He got a better offer elsewhere.
