Summer transfer window.

Do whatever we can to ensure we start next season with JOB and JB as our starting centre backs. No reason at all why both wouldn't be fully fit and ready to go in August.

Tarkowski and Keane able backups for next season.

Bring in two new full backs with pace.

Sign a top quality striker.

Forget about anything other than £15m and £100k a week for Grealish.

Hand the armband to Dewsbury-Hall.

We literally only need 3-4 players brought in. The problem is we're so poor in the areas where we're lacking it's cost us a very achievable Europa League place this season.
Spot on - get contracts sorted out asap and then splash all of the money on two fullbacks and a striker. Swerve Moyes & Dwight McNeil.

I suspect with Myko getting extended that we may not look at LB as a priority this summer.

Go with the Myko and Aznou as backup trying to displace him over the season (no laughing at the back).

Which if accurate kind of brings the logic of the Grealish signing into question. Lovely footballer and all-round fella, but we’ve all seen that he desperately could do with a runner overlapping - and Myko for all his defensive qualities isn’t it.

I know people have pooh-poohed the idea, but could he move centrally and KDH drops back into his favoured left-sided #8 slot? Röhl beside him on the right and Jimmy G in the #6? He’d have runners around him then.

edit: brain fart, I’m either playing 12 men here with 3 in midfield and a #10 or no striker - derp; point still stands tho I guess, not going to get the best out of Grealish if we don’t sign an LB..

Manager:
- Moyes: Out, Cesc in (will not happen tho)

Keepers:
-
Pickford: keep
- Travers: keep
- King: keep

No changes to be made.

Defense:
- Patterson: sell
- Coleman: move to staff
- Aznou: Loan
- Keane: backup
- Tarkowski: degrades to backup and stripped captaincy
- O'Brien: Moves in permantly in central defence
- Branthwaite: Plays centrally when fit
- Myko: backup

Midfield:
- Grealish: choose not to buy - perhaps another loan
- KDB: moves from 10 to 8
- Alcaraz: keep as squad player
- Gana: choose not to extend contract
- Röhl: buy
- Garner: plays 6 and new captain
- Iroegbunam: extend contract
- Armstron: loan

Forwards:
- McNeil: sell
- Beto: sell
- Ndiaye: extend
- Barry: keep as backup and player in progress
- George: buy
- Dibling: get him on with a great right back that can help him with overlaps

Buy a new no. 9 (a Toney/Thiago-like player) and an athletic dribling-type player, who can challenge, drible and bring pace. George is not quite there yet. And promote that Braiden Graham-lad.

Non-negotiable outs:
Coleman — release
Gueye — don't take up option
McNeil — £8-10m
Patterson — £2-3m
Alcaraz — £5-8m

To be decided outs:
Which one of Barry or Beto is sold. £20m or £10m respectively.
Probably Beto out due to Barry still having potential to improve.
Armstrong — loan
Aznou — loan or sell. 100% sell if we could get Diouf from West Ham/a proven quality left back, for example. No need for an up-and-comer then with Mykolenko in reserve.
Dibling — loan

Non-negotiable ins:
Left back
Right back
Striker proven and ready to start.
Striker up and coming.

Both strikers of a different profile to Beto and Barry.

To be decided ins:
Grealish — and whether it's good business to make him top earner at his age and on the back of his injury. Fee would need to be very minimal, not exceeding £20m for sure.
Right winger — if Dibling is loaned out. I'd prefer a player who can play across the line though.
George — is it worth a £20m gamble?
Where have you plucked some of those sell valuations from!?

We

need first choice right and left backs mate.
Starting right back, starting left back. Probably need a back up for both (wouldn’t mind if one player was brought in for that if money was an issue)

Moreover though, said starting right back and left back have to at minimum have some sort of pace and not wet themselves as soon as they cross the halfway line.

Expecting Moyes to bring in 2 new CBs though.
