Summer transfer window.

The claim was he may have supported Liverpool: the answer is that there is no evidence whatsoever to that effect.

🤷‍♂️
You said as a rebuttal that he supported GAA
I know lads that play football , GAa football and hurling ,support A league of Ireland team , Celtic and United / Liverpool /Chelsea
Doing of of these things does not preclude one from doing any or all of the rest

I dunno

35 or 40m is a lot of money. It's bound to impact finances in at least some way.

It clearly will not be that much after the appeal, it won't be paid for ages and it's nothing to billionaires

Plus, since when are football fans meant to have a keen interest (not knowledge) on the finances of football teams? It's mind numbing.

Do you think @Eggs was sat there with his abacus in the 80's heyday working out the profit on the turnstiles? I certainly do not

Apparently we have to pay it now, and claim it back if the appeal wins.

We argued that this is unfair because by the time the appeal is done, Burnley could very well have gone into liquidation, such is the state of their finances. But because we’d be covered by some FA creditor agreement thingy, we wouldn’t lose out, so like everything else, our argument was dismissed completely.

Worth paying now anyway as we are seemingly being charged daily interest at whatever crazy interest rate Burnley’s current borrowings are at.

All that said, it shouldn’t affect anything in terms of summer dealings, other than putting the fear into players and agents that we are still a hideous cheating basket case, which is what the media are desperate to portray.

Conor Bradley said: "I have supported Liverpool all of my life and bringing home the Premier League would be so special."

🤷
Yeh, but apart from that

….eh, you’ll be old one day  The ‘80s were actually quite recent for me, I remember the ‘60s when we were known as the Merseyside Millionaires.

Which player are we pretending Moyes rejected today team?
It is an art craft that I never knew existed before this Forum, Throw out your random waffle hopes/rumours, wait for 6-12months and if they prove a good purchase for there clubs stick it on the manager.
if they fail at there new clubs, let the rumour drift away with the wind and never mention the player again.

How to be a GOT ITK
