Darron Gibson honestly isnt all that, hes certainly not "good" enough to play as a number 10, hes very good as a number 8, but the footballing world no longer needs number 8s.

Never bloody heard of him until the other day so why should we really care if we don't sign him? I say if you never heard of him before then it tells you all you need to know.

Hope we avoid Bamford, footballing greats like Vydra, Cameron Jerome and Andy Carroll have scored bucket loads in the championship but being bang average at PL level. Watching him against Arsenal in the cup he was completely out of his depth.

Sadly these days unless they play for Everton I pay very little attention to other players and have therefore heard of very few players! Gone are the days of knowing every team's squads and watching Football Italia etc!
