so just to confirm, Dann is not a done deal for around 6.5m and now our #1 target is Ogbonna?
Those who claim to have club sources seem to be saying Dann but without putting a firm price on it. Echo is the source of the "Ogbonna is #1 target" again with very little price info.

Nobody knows which is correct, if any. But window isn't even open yet though, not point getting worked up now or you'll have no fume left for deadline day ;)

Thank you for that intelligent response LL.
And don't worry, I won't work myself up into a frenzy ;)

We're Evertonians. We've got limitless fume.

As for dann - paying 6-8mln pounds for 28-year old average (even if was palace's best player) redshite fan is stupitidy. For that money we could bring much better and younger players

For all those against Scott Dann I would like to leave this link here. It's their transfer thread on Scott Dann, quite a few people on here aren't that keen on him but I bet you most of them have hardly seen him play. The Palace fans rate him so highly and some are wanting 15m "minimum" for him. If we were linked with Yannick Bolasie everyone would be over the moon because he's a foreign attacking player who's really skillfull and even has a boss name but the Palace fans still rate Dann as thier most important player, some have even said they'd rather lose Bolasie than Dann.

So anyone not wanting him or saying he's not good enough I suggest you give a read on those who know him and have watched play everyweek on how highly they rate him.

i honestly don't think Martinez wants another young defender. we already have stones and galloway and Browning are rated very highly. He's looking for an experienced back to bridge the gap between Jag's final seasons and when Galloway is ready.

Someone on there asking if Everton are really a step up.

Are the 9 times title winners who play in front of 35,000+ every week a step up from Crystal Palace, their second divison average and 0 top level trophies? I'm going to go with yes.
