I would say any sort of move for a player of that price range hinges on Mirallas leaving or not.

True. Mirallas leaving should attract a fee that would pay for Heaton, Defres and Deufoleu transfer fees alone. So we should have at least another £20m for a CB and AM surely. At least...

Fair enough. I prefer buying players who specialise in one position myself. A striker is a striker. We need another one. It appears going by those reports he is a striker and not a Mirallas type winger.

My mate who follows Italian football closely said that Defrel is a decent prospect and could be a bargain buy for that price. He was a stand-out player for a weak Cesena team.

He's not a world beater but can become quite good. For 4M what's the risk?

There's one thing I will say for sure, mate. You can't write off a keeper in his early 20s, and you can only really judge a keeper when he's had a good run of games. In Joel's cup cameos, which were few and far between, he looked dodgy. But when Howard was out injured, he started to look much improved after playing a few games in succession.

Them 3 games he played last year told me he wasn't any better than Howard his mistake when someone shot above his head but managed to go in doesn't help like.

But granted a keeper needs a good run of games it's unfair to judge on one cameo what's gone wrong

Heaton, Dann and this French lad. Really not impressed by these names we have been linked with.
 
I'm happy with the names so far. Happy we're not spaffing ludicrous amounts on unproven players. Got two in so far and likely some more.

All in all it could be a bloody good shake up.
