When talking about Robles we should remember that he did play a number of games in Wigans relegation year, won a cup final with them and kept their no. 1 keeper out of the team up to the end of the season.

If RM did intend giving Robles a chance then Heaton would be a very solid no.2

Read an interview earlier with Howard, he was saying how much he was looking forward to going to Singapore for preseason, doesn't sound likes off any time soon.

Al Habsi got a shoulder injury in the run in that year.

Truth is, quite a few teams have had Robles on loan as cover but not one of them have moved heaven and earth to have him as there number one keeper.

Don't think he is good enough for a top level team.

The latter manager signing him for the club he moved to the next year.

He is not good enough in my view, and all his previous clubs who know more than me and you.

Everton have made a £3.6million bid for Cesena striker Gregoire Defrel, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Defrel, 24, scored nine times in 31 games in Serie A last season but couldn't stop his side from finishing 19th and being relegated.

The Toffees had reportedly previously enquired about the striker in January, who has also been linked with QPR and West Brom.

Almost too random and specific not to be true. Paying for potential but looks to have a decent left peg. He can cut that celebration out though.

What we don't know is if Heaton would be joining us as our no.1 or as no.2 and Robles becoming the main man.

Robles started his last season at Atletico Madrid as their no.1 until displaced a few games later by Courtois coming on loan.

I would guess Gibson..

If he came in it I guess it would be in the number 10 role that Roberto was talking about? reckon Gibson will want to go regardless, if he's fit (yer I know) he will want to play, can't see him getting much game time with the other options we have in the squad.

Liked the look of that Defrel playing in a terrible side. Would be a good signing for just over 3 million.
