No, bringing in a right back we can afford (and surely to god there is one) without depleting an already paper thin squad, makes more sense. Certainly to me.

He will want game time though, of course it depends if something comes in but It wouldn't surprise me tbh. I see it hard for him to get a gig here going forward, the new additions have better more effective skillsets than he does and will always start ahead of him.

Moyes brought Coleman on ahead of him yesterday though mate, so that means we don’t need him. Wasn’t because we wanted an extra defensive player on to see out the match.

Maybe Coleman was the only one who would care about being brought on after 5 minutes of the 6 minutes of added time. A good club servant. McNeil would actually want some real minutes. I think he is way down the pecking order right now and really needs some games to sharpen up. TBH he looked pretty awful vs Mansfield, a shadow of the player who took Brighton (away) apart a couple of seasons ago.
