I wouldn't mind us waiting till the end of the window to procure some players if our main targets have been secured, I am irked that we don't have a right side before we head into our second match along with the fact we just employed magical thinking assuming injuries would not occur which is very naive. The market is a mess but players still need to be added so make the needed efforts Everton. I think we'll acquire what we need but to leave it this late and sacrifice another August slate of games is negligent. I mentioned it in another post we have not won a match in this month since flop sweat Benitez was here with is not acceptable for a club that supposedly has ambitions.

but that would make fans less angry and potentially less disillusioned.... not on our watch.

Moyes' rationale was that he is such an inspirational figure in the locker room, okay then absorb him into the coaching stuff or hire him as a motivational speaker as notable as he was for this club he's clearly beyond his capacity to play professional football anymore especially if he wasn't on the pitch Monday deputizing as left back. We can't afford any ceremonial players right nowv
